Fire & Brilliance's cushion Old Mine Cut (OMC) FAB moissanite is a classically faceted gem inspired by historic origins of brilliant cut stones.

The distinguishable features of this 58 facets OMC moissanite are the high crown, deep pavilion and large culet. F&B's OMC displays a unique flare by minimizing the surface area of the faceted culet to achieve a more modern approach to an antique style cut.

Fun Fact: Per the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), "Diamond rough from Brazil was used for early brilliant cuts such as the old-mine-cut...The old-mine cut had the same number of facets-58-as the modern brilliant, but its pavilion was deeper…’Old-miners’ became the most popular cut diamonds of the eighteenth century."
